- Band 7 | $65 p/h + super
- ASAP Start | Based in Eastern Suburbs

We are seeking an experienced professional who can demonstrate a strong background in Workplace Investigations, Case Management, Performance Management, ER/IR Experience, Change Management, Writing Briefs & relevant correspondence and working closely with Managers and Senior Managers within the Council.

Contract commencing ASAP until July 2023 initially with potential to extend beyond

**Key responsibilities**:

- Managing workplace investigations, including providing advice and support to managers and employees, conducting interviews, and preparing investigation reports
- Managing cases of employee misconduct or poor performance, including developing appropriate action plans, providing support to managers and employees, and monitoring progress
- Providing advice and guidance on employment-related matters, including interpreting enterprise agreements and award provisions
- Leading change management initiatives, including restructures and redundancy processes
- Drafting briefs, correspondence, and other documents to support workplace relations activities
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders across the business

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
- Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within the public sector
- A deep understanding of relevant workplace relations legislation and regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports and briefs
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
