The role of Workplace Relations Consultant will contribute to this by providing tactical support and advice to people leaders and employees on a broad range of Workplace Relations matters. The Workplace Relations Consultant will also support the delivery of Workplace Relations projects, such as workplace relations aspects of organisational change, workplace governance, compliance and other relevant projects as required.
- This is a 12-month opportunity. This role can be done as full-time or part-time as a 4-day week or 9-day fortnight within a Hybrid working environment._

The impact you’ll have
- Advise on workplace relations risk. Such as ensuring relevant documentation and employment and contractor arrangements are compliant.
- Manage complex individual cases that involve performance, misconduct, incapacity etc. While also managing employee grievances and disputes.
- Coach people leaders on workplace relations matters to build confidence and proficiency in our leaders.
- Assist with workplace relations projects as they arise such as supporting EBA negotiations and relevant processes and change activities and other ad hoc workplace relations project as they arise.
- Provide workplace relations advice to organisational change, divestments, acquisitions and integrations. Ensure consultation obligations are met.

The talents you’ll bring
- Experience working within workplace relations / employee relations role, preferably within an established organisation that has some sort of union or industrial complexity.
- Demonstrated experience in complex case management, investigations and conflict resolution.
- A builder of relationships, you won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo, helping to problem solve through your persistence, passion and the ability to influence and negotiate.
- You’re an effective communicator, both in person and written.
- You’re a strategic thinker with the ability navigate and thrive within an ambiguous, changing environment.
- Enthusiasm for workplace relations where your support and advice contribute to the overall culture of the business.
- A desire to work within a team who are talented, engaging and continuously learning through sharing experiences and quality time together.
