The Change Communications and Engagement Manager role is responsible for developing and delivering stakeholder engagement and communication plans as a part of holistic change management for prioritised initiatives on the enterprise roadmap.
The incumbent will work closely with other change resources to ensure that stakeholders are identified and an engagement and communications plan in place to support the adoption and embedment of any changes associated with the projects they’re assigned to.
The incumbent is expected to deliver value by applying a structured approach and set of tools to understand, evaluate, and execute their role in the change, consistent with the enterprise change methodology and delivery framework. Their engagement and communication plans and materials should be consistent with the standards and approach set out by Enterprise Communications, including in the enterprise communications channel strategy.
Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering change communication and engagement plans/activities in complex organisational environments.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience supporting large-scale transformations or business initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with high proficiency in digital communication platforms.
  • Ability to craft clear, compelling communications tailored to various audiences, including senior executives, employees, and external partners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed of emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in change communications and engagement.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Highly credible and persuasive in face-to-face settings; effective at adapting communication style and content to the audience.
  • Demonstrates ease and confidence during interactions with senior level management.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships, managing expectations, and influencing decision-making processes, in challenging environments.
  • A collaborative mindset and approach to work, with the ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional teams.
