About SASH
The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest, privately owned network of veterinary hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere, offering multi-disciplinary specialist and emergency services across multiple locations in New South Wales, South Australia and now Queensland. At SASH, our core purpose is to help pets and their families live their best life and we have the privilege of caring for over 50,000 pets and their families each year.

What we’re looking for?
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Portfolio Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the strategic and tactical execution of marketing plans for a number of hospitals within the SASH network. We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded, and enthusiastic team player to join our SASH family. The successful candidate will also have a love for animals and feel comfortable being close with them in order to best communicate the features and benefits of SASH.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing plans for each SASH hospital within an assigned portfolio and marketing budget
  • Partner with Hospital Directors to deliver tailored marketing activities to meet hospital objectives and to build marketing acumen with stakeholders
  • Deliver pet owner focused marketing activities to drive brand awareness and case quantity
  • Support and provide insight to Veterinary Relationship Managers to assist in delivering value propositions to referring veterinarians
  • Monitor and report on relevant hospital performance metrics such as NPS and marketing ROI
  • Contribute to PR and social media calendar with original content
  • Manage positive relationships with suppliers and industry partners
  • Some marketing administration duties

 
 
About You
The marketing team is a small, high performing group of individuals. To be considered for the position, you will have:

  • At least 5 years of product, portfolio, or brand marketing experience, ideally in both B2B and B2C channels
  • Strong communication skills with a broad audience ranging from veterinary specialist to lay clients
  • Proven business acumen and ability to draw insight from financial data
  • Confident with excellent stakeholder management
  • A broad marketing skillset and experience in market research, digital & social marketing, traditional marketing, event planning, brand marketing, product/service launches, and copywriting
  • Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Ability to work autonomously while being part of a close-knit team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment

Desirable

  • Degree in veterinary science, marketing or business
