Our mission is to enhance the lives of pets and their families, providing care for over 50,000 pets annually.
Position Summary
As a key member of the marketing team, the Portfolio Manager will report directly to the Marketing Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the strategic and operational implementation of marketing initiatives for multiple hospitals within the SASH network. We seek a seasoned and enthusiastic professional who possesses a genuine passion for animal welfare and can effectively convey the unique offerings of SASH.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies for each SASH hospital within an assigned portfolio and budget.
- Collaborate with Hospital Directors to execute customized marketing activities that align with hospital goals and enhance stakeholder marketing capabilities.
- Design and execute pet owner-centric marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and increase case volume.
- Provide support and insights to Veterinary Relationship Managers to enhance value propositions for referring veterinarians.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators, including NPS and marketing ROI, to assess hospital performance.
- Contribute original content to the PR and social media calendar.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and industry partners.
- Perform various marketing administrative tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile
The marketing team is a compact, high-achieving group. To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product, portfolio, or brand marketing, with exposure to both B2B and B2C environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging a diverse audience from veterinary specialists to pet owners.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to derive insights from financial data.
- Confidence in stakeholder management and relationship building.
- A comprehensive marketing skill set, including market research, digital and social media marketing, traditional marketing, event planning, brand marketing, product launches, and copywriting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills.
- The ability to work independently while being part of a cohesive team.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in veterinary science, marketing, or business is advantageous.
