The People & Culture team is at the heart of their organisational success, founded on strong core values and a people-centric culture, they are now looking for an experienced HR Director to add to their leadership team and help shape the future HR function.

The Role:

As the HR Director, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing day-to-day HR operations, while driving strategic initiatives which align with the firm’s overall goals. Reporting to and supporting the CPO, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives, providing HR guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. You will also lead, support and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure a high performing and positive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient and effective HR practices.
  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, organisational design, and performance management.
  • Lead employee engagement and experience initiatives, including the annual employee engagement survey and analysis of results.
  • Support the realignment of the HR function from a generalist model to a more specialised framework to align with evolving organisational needs.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and processes are in line with current legislation and industry best practices.
  • Lead and implement cultural alignment initiatives that reinforce the firm’s values and mission.
  • Contribute to Board, Audit and Risk Committee reporting, providing insights on key HR and operational metrics.
  • Assist with quarterly and monthly reporting to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with the CPO in the execution and continual refinement of the firm’s People Strategy.

About You:

You are an experienced HR leader, ideally with recent financial services experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing HR functions in a dynamic, high performing environment. You are a hands-on leader who is comfortable balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operations. You bring a pragmatic approach to solving HR challenges and have the experience to drive organisational change and cultural alignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant HR certifications are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior HR leadership roles, with a strong focus on HR operations, employee engagement, and organisational development.
  • Expertise in managing employee relations (ER), employee value proposition (EVP), and employee experience initiatives.
  • Awareness of facilities and front-of-house operations management is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and diverse teams.
  • A track record of successfully leading and coaching HR teams to deliver high-impact results.
