Strategic HR Director

Court Services Victoria is seeking an experienced HR executive to lead the delivery of strategic advice on people and culture, and high-quality HR services to the Victoria's courts and tribunals, VCAT, the Judicial College, the Judicial Commission, and CSV. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a highly collaborative branch and setting the strategic direction and operational delivery of innovative HR services that support excellence in workforce management across the Victorian justice system.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and build a positive, high-performing culture within People Services, aligned with public sector values.
- Deliver expert HR advice and services across a broad-spectrum.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team and foster innovation and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, including CSV's CEO, to ensure alignment with organisational goals and champion CSV's strategic objectives.
- Develop policies that promote psychological safety and wellbeing, reinforcing CSV's commitment to a safe and inclusive workplace.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships across government and industry to stay at the forefront of emerging HR trends and best practices.
