About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our HR function.

As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing day-to-day HR operations, while driving strategic initiatives that align with our overall goals.

You will report to and support our Chief People Officer, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives, providing HR guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

The successful candidate will lead, support and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure a high-performing and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day HR Operations: Oversee the efficient and effective management of HR practices.
  • Strategic HR Business Partner: Provide guidance on employee relations, organisational design, and performance management to senior leaders.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee experience, including annual engagement surveys and analysis.
  • HR Function Realignment: Support the transition from a generalist to a more specialised HR framework.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Ensure HR policies, procedures, and processes align with current legislation and industry best practices.
  • Cultural Alignment: Implement initiatives to reinforce our values and mission.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Contribute to Board and executive team reporting, providing insights on key HR and operational metrics.
About You

We are looking for an experienced HR leader with recent financial services experience and a proven track record of successfully managing HR functions in dynamic environments.

Successful candidates will have a pragmatic approach to solving HR challenges and experience driving organisational change and cultural alignment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant HR certifications are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior HR leadership roles, with a strong focus on HR operations, employee engagement, and organisational development.
  • Expertise in managing employee relations, employee value proposition, and employee experience initiatives.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
