THE OPPORTUNITY

Utilize your customer service skills while receiving comprehensive training to support injured workers. In this role, you'll provide high-quality, face-to-face assistance to both workers and employers, facilitating effective workplace coordination for timely and safe return to work. As a Mobile Claims Specialist, you'll play a key role in influencing stakeholders to support recovery and manage workers' compensation effectively.

This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Adelaide office. We offer a flexible working arrangement post training.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and drive RTW plans in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders to ensure RTW outcomes
  • Collaborate with claims specialists, liability specialists & other technical and support experts to manage a portfolio of claims
  • Conduct purposeful community-based visits inclusive of but not limited to worksites or medical clinics on initial triage of a claim and at significant milestones during the life of the claim
  • Provide clear and accurate information about claims, entitlements, and responsibilities, including ensuring both parties understand the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and capacity.

ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent communication skills face to face, on the phone and in writing including being able to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds and ability to negotiate outcomes
  • Excellent customer service skills including the ability to consider the needs of a customer in a holistic way, and ability to remain impartial to meet the needs of both employer and worker
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside the box to provide personalised and tailored solutions
  • Demonstrate resilience, be flexible and respond quickly to changing situations
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Current driver’s license
