Brightwaters Disability Services is currently seeking an innovative Funding Support Officer to join our Supported Independent Living team working permanent full time. 

This position provides a central contact point between the NDIS and Brightwater’s Supported Independent Living (SIL) operational and Business Services teams in relation to Programs of Support, funding claims, price guides and management of correspondence with client and funder stakeholders to support the delivery of responsive and continuous services to clients

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience in a complex administration position or similar, requiring oversight of financial data and customer information.Excellent computer skills, including strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of financial and customer database systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise, consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and to build successful relationships.Excellent customer service skills and professional application of privacy and confidentiality requirements.Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment; organise and prioritise tasks; work effectively under pressure; and meet deadlines.High level of attention to detail and analytical skills as well as the ability to problem-solve issues to resolution.Experience working in the disability or aged care sector and working knowledge of NDIS funding principles (desirable).

You will also possess:

Possess a current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence (desirable).A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months oldA satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check ClearanceEvidence of up-to-date flu vaccination
