North Sydney, Australia Amazon Support Services Pty Ltd - D05 Full time
Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and help define the industry standard for cloud support? AWS Support is a multi-billion dollar business, and AWS Enterprise Support (ES) works with customers from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises, and from cloud-native organizations to those just getting started on their cloud journey. Our Technical Account Managers (TAMs) are a global team of cloud experts who help AWS customers adopt, optimize and operate in the AWS cloud at scale.

We are expanding a team focused on building the tools TAMs need to deliver industry-leading support to Enterprise Support customers. We are looking for System Development Engineers (SysDe) who move fast, are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done. We work on real world problems on a global scale, own our systems end to end, and influence the direction of our technology that impacts hundreds of millions of customers around the world. Come join us as we develop world class customer support capabilities for Amazon Web Services

Key job responsibilities
You design and deliver technology solutions which solve difficult business problems. You identify and solve ambiguous problems, architectural deficiencies, or areas where your team’s systems hinder the innovation of other teams, and are learning to do this for other teams in your organization. You work autonomously, but may seek direction at times from peers and your manager. You consider the legacy of the systems you build with your team and how they will scale and evolve over time. Your solutions are pragmatic, efficient, and cost-effective. You make appropriate trade-offs and re-use or extend prior work where possible. You thoroughly test your work. You consistently write clear, accurate, and concise documentation for your own solutions and improve your team’s existing documentation.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
