Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team in Sydney, working with our Betting, Gaming and Marketplace customers and other AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions.

About the Role:

  • Create and execute technical strategies alongside sales and business development teams to delight Enterprise customers through deep relationships with AWS.
  • Partner with customers and multiple AWS teams to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems and accelerate AWS adoption.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community through authoring or contributing to customer-facing publications.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
