ServiceNow HRSD Developer

As part of our ongoing commitment to our people, this newly created role will join Transurban’s ServiceNow platform team. The ServiceNow platform provides key services to the Transurban business, enabling multiple channels for end users to raise incidents and requests and supports a variety of business areas (Technology, Cyber Security, People & Culture, Facilities and Finance) with task management and approval workflows.

This newly created role will contribute to meaningful change by supporting the delivery of 24/7 safe, reliable and efficient operations of the network, along with a superior experience for our customers.

 

About the role 

 

As our new ServiceNow HRSD SME, this role will join Transurban’s ServiceNow platform team, supporting Enterprise Service Management, by developing and supporting the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules within the ServiceNow platform. The role will supplement an existing ServiceNow Support team as the primary contact and support team member for the HRSD solution. You will work closely with key business stakeholders, technology vendors and contingent workers supporting the platform.

The role may include 24*7 on-call on a rotational basis, the role qualified for on-call payment and time-off-in-lieu.

 

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Both operational and project delivery, ensuring delivered solutions meet the technical specifications and design requirements.

  • Working directly with key business stakeholders to respond and resolve issues and requests and further enhance the platform’s capability contributing to continuous service improvements for the platform.

  • Handling multiple priorities, shifting business objectives.

  • Seek and respond to customer feedback on the user experience to ensure solutions being developed meet end user experience expectations and deliver on promised outcomes.

 

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: 

 

  • Proven experience with design, review, implementation and support of the ServiceNow HRSD module including Employee Service Center, HR Case Management, and Lifecycle Events.

  • ServiceNow Certification/s: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist in Human Resources (CIS-HR), and Certified Application Developer (CAD).

  • Strong understanding of SDLC practices and scripting languages such as JavaScript for client scripts, business rules, and script includes.

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as Workday, SailPoint, Active Directory, adding value to cross-functional integrations and cloud-based services.
