We are currently seeking a Client Engagement Manager to join our team on a permanent basis to support our Defence Maritime clients. Perhaps you've been in an Account Management, Client Engagement or Business Development role, looking for the next opportunity. Here at Jacobs, as a Client Engagement Manager, you'll be responsible for managing relationships with Government agencies, clients, and our industry partners. The role is highly varied encompassing tasks such as, response to quotation/tender development, business development, recruitment, people management and more.
This exciting opportunity includes a variety of activities including RFQ/T response development, contract management and the development and sustainment of strong and trusted client relationships. Ready to hear more?
**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Prepare responses to tender and quotation requests
- Identify business opportunities in existing and new accounts
- Identify and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff and sub-consultants, in conjunction with our recruitment partners and supply chain companies
- Maintain our contracts and trusted client relationships to secure repeat business and growth
- Manage and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Prepare correspondence and reports
- Conduct site visits and meetings clients and staff
**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Demonstrated Client Engagement/Account Management experience
- Relevant Defence Capability and Sustainment Group (CASG) and Maritime Industry experience
- Strong experience and established networks in National Security environments, including CASG in the Maritime Domain. Previous CASG Maritime experience would be highly regarded
- Highly developed communication skills
- Proven operational sales experience
- Strong and proven client relationship building skills
- A proven record of working collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience in the use of Customer Relationship Management platforms (desirable)
- Hold and maintain an NV1 security clearance
