Engineering Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a Coordinator to oversee community engagement initiatives and activities targeting underrepresented cohorts in the engineering sector.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualification, extensive experience in fostering student engagement, crafting programs/initiatives, and managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate community outreach initiatives to attract students from diverse backgrounds.
- Establish partnerships with educational institutions to enhance collective impact.
- Manage project plans and schedules, contribute to planning processes for key initiatives.
- Monitor and report on project deliverables to ensure time, cost, and quality metrics align with approved project plans.
- Provide consultative advice on attracting and retaining students from underrepresented cohorts.
- Design marketing and communications strategies for targeted communities.
- Manage stakeholder communications across multiple channels.
- Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and extensive experience in fostering student engagement and managing complex projects.
- Passion for the engineering sector and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Substantial project coordination experience, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
