**What this opportunity involves**:
We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated Strategic Client Manager - Procurement to work on a global government account.

In this role, you will manage and grow the relationships with the client and deliver procurement strategies, project manage large procurement processes in collaboration with the JLL procurement team, deliver strategic and technical advice and assist in the management of vendors.

You will report to the Head of Strategic Client Management and can be based in JLL's corporate office in Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra.

**Responsibilities**:
Project Manage deliverables and KPI's across multiple accounts and clients.
Liaison, communication, and consultation with key internal and external stakeholder
Developing bids for new projects and actively undertaking business development in order to further grow the SCMP work stream.
Support with the management of supplier relationships and negotiations on behalf of clients.
Managing risk within area of responsibility and ensuring all stakeholders and clients are aware of and comply with relevant regulations and procedures.
Conducting quality reviews and compliance checks in accordance with the annual review program and procurement governance framework.
Ensure vendors compliance with JLL policies and procedures.
Ensure ethical sourcing practices.
Develop procurement strategies to achieve targets (savings / performance / diversity etc.), whilst improving quality and reducing risk.
Engage stakeholders throughout each procurement process to manage change and buy-in.
Delivering procurement advice to clients during project delivery, including but not limited to development of business cases, procurement strategy, evaluation criteria, and tender documentation.
Assist in delivering technical work associated with project delivery, including but not limited to scope development, method statements, pricing schedules, evaluation of bids;
Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.

Please note that you must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client's requirement with the ability to gain and retain relevant security clearance.

Bachelor's Degree (Economics, Business Studies/Admin/Management, Commerce).
6+ years' experience working in Procurement, Consulting, Purchasing.
Solid interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to manage diverse range of stakeholders
Exposure to government procurement is an added advantage
Project management qualification or accreditation is desirable (e.g. PRINCE2).
Experience in Facilities Management or In-Directs Category management is highly desirable
Qualifications and professional memberships, such as Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent are considered an advantage
Persuasive written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong multi-tasking and organizational capabilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated skills in rigorous, fact-based analyses that drive creative problem solving, proposal preparation, and negotiations
Ability to influence all levels of business and stakeholders
Awareness to identify commercial angle and employ strong negotiation skills
Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions
Ability to anticipate client needs and exceed expectations
Ability to travel domestically and regionally to clients' offices when needed
