The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Leasing and Licensing Officer to be
part of our Fisheries and Aquaculture Division within the
Department of Primary Industries and Regions.
The Leasing and Licensing Officer provides an efficient
"first point of contact" enquiry service and is
responsible for the management of correspondence including
delivering accurate and appropriate verbal or written information,
and monitoring, actioning, and recording correspondence.
This role
ensures a high level of customer service support is provided to all
Fisheries & Aquaculture lease and licence holders.
The role contributes to delivering a range of fisheries and
aquaculture related services through a collaborative approach with
industry, other government departments, and other PIRSA Divisions.
The role supports the administration of the Aquaculture Act
2001 and the Fisheries Management Act 2007.
This
position assists with the collection and receipting of lease and
licence revenue and provides a range of efficient information
services in relation to fisheries and aquaculture, including
processing of all leasing & licensing applications, and liaises
with internal and external customers to provide high level customer
service support.

Special Conditions
• Successful applicant will be required to
satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to
being made an offer of employment.
• Australian residency or current works permit is
required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a
current work permit).
• Opportunity up to December 2026.
• Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements
• Possession of a current driver's
licence and willingness to drive.
• Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel
may be required.
• You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.
• The incumbent will be required to undertake
emergency management training and must be willing to participate in
emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required
by government agencies.
Remuneration ASO3 - $67,589 min - $72,033 max per annum, plus
superannuation
