We are excited to partner one of Australia's largest and most distinguished for-purpose organisations to recruit a newly created position - Head of Workforce Planning & People Analytics. Leading the development of contemporary and future focused workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies and programs, this role drives the provision of workforce analytics and reporting to improve performance, address workforce challenges, facilitate workforce mobility and support business decision making into the future.

As a pivotal role in the People Leadership team you will collaborate to drive HR excellence, supporting this leader to sustain and innovate their people practices for the long term. The creation of this role will help the organisation ensure it has "the right people, with the right skills, at the right time safely supporting customers now and into the future" This will be achieved by:

- Defining the future workforce to support business priorities, changes to work and the sector
- Building and managing a workforce strategy function including the existing talent acquisition team
- Developing a workforce framework and plan that includes consolidation of operations-level workforce planning and resource optimisation strategies
- Implementing a workforce strategy focused on effectively leveraging the current workforce and planning the future organisation needs
- Ensuring workforce data and people analytics are captured accurately and used in decision making
- Developing and embedding workforce measures and reporting dashboards
- Researching contemporary workforce management practices and establishing policies, strategies and frameworks

With a background that may include human services, you have thrived working in a dynamic, ambiguous context in rapid growth. You will have a detailed knowledge of contemporary workforce planning & resource planning approaches, strong commercial acumen and project management skills. You can flex from strategic to operational with ease and enjoy analysing, researching and problem solving, taking on board wide ranging information. With strong verbal and written communication skills you have an ability to educate, influence and engage colleagues at all levels.
