Workforce Planning Specialist

At our company, we are seeking a skilled Workforce Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of projects by planning and coordinating our workforce.

This role involves designing and implementing effective workforce plans that meet business needs, anticipating and resolving gaps in workforce availability, and working closely with recruitment and field management teams to ensure coverage in the right locations at the right times.

Key responsibilities include leading workforce planning cycles, from short-term forecasts to quarterly and annual outlooks, partnering with operations, project managers, and field leaders to align workforce supply with business priorities, and providing reporting, insights, and scenario modelling to guide operational and resourcing decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or operations management for large casual workforces, advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, familiarity with workforce or planning systems, strong data interpretation, forecasting, and scenario-modelling skills, exceptional communication skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
