Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager

Our client is an Australian owned freight & logistics company that specialises in the import/export & touring of live entertainment, TV & Film Production & Exhibitions across the APCA region and they are seeking an experienced bookkeeper and accounts manager to work closely with the company accountants and manage the day-to-day accounting & pay of the business including payroll.
**Responsibilities**
- Full suite of accounts receivable, accounts payable, daily bank reconciliations, credit control etc
- Payroll
- BAS preparation
- Debt collection per agreed terms
- Creditor reconciliations and processing - local and international
- Reporting (debtors, creditors, margin, P&L)
- Compliance reporting & payments (but not limited to) payroll tax, income tax, GST and FBT etc
**The successful applicant should possess**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification highly desired
- Prior experience in a similar role including payroll
- XERO experience essential
- MYOB highly desired
- High-level attention to detail
- Proactive team player with initiative
- Ability to independently own and problem solve tasks
