We're a flexible and inclusive workplace and can accommodate family-friendly working hours where needed.About UsFounded in Sydney in 2000, One Teaspoon is a globally recognised cult denim and apparel brand, with stockists in over 35 countries and long-standing partnerships with major retailers like Free People, Revolve, Shopbop, Nordstrom, and Saks.The RoleReporting directly to the CEO, this position involves managing the full spectrum of bookkeeping functions — including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general financial record keeping and bookkeeping.Who We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone with:5+ years of relevant experiencePermanent residency in AustraliaFormal qualifications in a relevant fieldAble to work on-site at Brookvale 3 days a weekKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Administration & Record KeepingReconcile daily bank transactionsCreate and send customer invoicesProcess batch payments to suppliersMaintain accurate credit card reconciliation recordsAccounts Payable & ReceivableManage AP/AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCoordinate secure local and international paymentsReporting & ComplianceGenerate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports across multiple entitiesConfidently manage Balance Sheet, P&L, and budgeting analysisHandle IAS and BAS lodgementsExecute month-end and quarter-end financial processesPayroll & TaxationRun payroll via Xero, ensuring compliance with superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and STP reportingMaintain asset registers and perform stocktakes across locationsCommunication & CollaborationLiaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and global teamsWork closely with external accountants for year-end financial processesSkills & ExperienceStrong proficiency in XeroExperience using ShopifySolid understanding of general ledger, P&L, Balance Sheet, budgeting, and journal entriesConfident in all aspects of bookkeeping, including payroll, GST, IAS, BAS, and STPExcellent attention to detail with strong Excel and Word skillsHighly organised with excellent time management and self-motivationWhy Join Us?
