is a globally recognised cult denim and apparel brand, with stockists in over 35 countries and long-standing partnerships with major retailers like Free People, Revolve, Shopbop, Nordstrom, and Saks.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position involves managing the full spectrum of bookkeeping functions — including
accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
, and general
financial record keeping and bookkeeping
.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with:
5+ years of relevant experience
Permanent residency
in Australia
Formal qualifications
in a relevant field
Able to work on-site at Brookvale 3 days a week
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration & Record Keeping
Reconcile daily bank transactions
Create and send customer invoices
Process batch payments to suppliers
Maintain accurate credit card reconciliation records
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Manage AP/AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate secure local and international payments
Reporting & Compliance
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports across multiple entities
Confidently manage Balance Sheet, P&L, and budgeting analysis
Handle IAS and BAS lodgements
Execute month-end and quarter-end financial processes
Payroll & Taxation
Run payroll via
Xero
, ensuring compliance with superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and STP reporting
Maintain asset registers and perform stocktakes across locations
Communication & Collaboration
Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and global teams
Work closely with external accountants for year-end financial processes
Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in
Xero
Experience using
Shopify
Solid understanding of general ledger, P&L, Balance Sheet, budgeting, and journal entries
Confident in all aspects of bookkeeping, including
payroll, GST, IAS, BAS, and STP
Excellent attention to detail with strong
Excel
and
Word
skills
Highly organised with excellent time management and self-motivation
