Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper

We are a small, family-run business seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will cover a broad range of bookkeeping and accounting duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, IAS reporting, BAS preparation and EOFY support.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience working with small businesses and be confident managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll processing
  • IAS, BAS and EOFY preparation
  • General bookkeeping duties as required

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience in a small business environment
  • Proficiency in MYOB/XERO, Word and Excel is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Hours & Flexibility:

  • Flexible part-time hours, ideally suited to school hours
  • Minimum 8 hours per week with additional hours when needed
  • Additional hours will be required during busy periods
  • Days and times are negotiable to suit both parties
  • Immediate start available $40 - $45 per hour plus Super
