**The role**
The Connecting Families' Quality Coordinator will be responsible for establishing a quality framework that is focused on quality service delivery and meeting the needs of stakeholders with statutory and regulatory requirements. Through establishing a quality management framework, you will be pivotal in supporting and driving: a higher quality of service, greater efficiencies, a culture of continuous improvement and Innovation.
- Developing high quality policies and procedures that align with ISO 9001:2015 and the standards and regulations in which we operate that deliver best practice.
- Provide a source of knowledge and advice about our compliance obligations, under relevant legislative frameworks, in a way which guides and strengthens operational practices.
- Develop and maintain a document register that will include review dates and audit schedules.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the quality framework and standards.
- Work with business unit managers to ensure that the quality framework is embedded within the culture of the organisation and implemented across all level of the organisation.
- Assist with the ongoing review of risks, incidents, and feedback to support the continual improvement loop.
**Skills and Experience**
To be successful in the industry you will ideally have:
- Experience as a quality coordinator or similar role.
- Experience in the industry will also be highly regarded.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Excellent organisational skills, be self-motivated and work autonomously.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in building and maintaining stakeholder relationship.
- Alignment with the Connecting Families is essential.
- Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and / or Blue Card
