Overview
We are looking for an experienced, part-time (3 days per week), Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence in Tamworth, NSW.
The position offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, with 7.5 hours per day.
Responsibilities
Assist in continuous improvement in line with the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements.
Assist our homes with compliance, policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.
Skills & Experience Required
You must be able to demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge of the aged care sector to be able to assist our homes with compliance and policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.
AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
Ideally, at least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a quality role
Demonstrated quality, compliance & clinical governance understanding
Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
Excellent understanding of quality assurance & auditing processes
Must be able to easily learn new systems and technologies
Continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis experience would be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
Be able to coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
