Business Development Manager – NSW (Full-Time)
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to lead sales growth for Besa across New South Wales. Must have proven experience in liquor sales within the NSW region.
This is a field-based role combining new business development with account management, ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You'll be the key connector between our US-based CEO, Melbourne-based distributor, and ambassador team, working to expand our presence in the independent liquor and hospitality channels across NSW and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Growth
- Identify, prospect, and secure new on-premises and off-premise accounts (bottle shops, independent liquor stores, bars, pubs, restaurants).
- Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure strong reorder velocity and brand visibility.
- Partner with our distributor and retail partners to coordinate orders, deliveries, and in-store execution.
- Maintain accurate call notes, sales activity, and pipeline progress in CRM.
Reporting & Communication
- Deliver weekly and monthly sales reports, including KPIs, pipeline updates, and forecasts.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and distributors, ensuring proactive communication and alignment.
- Represent Besa with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
Brand Building & Activation
- Support tastings and activations, coordinating with part-time ambassadors and occasionally hosting events.
- Execute field sales strategies with the CEO and distributor to maximize territory performance.
- Be the local face of the brand – building excitement and advocacy at every touchpoint.
Travel
- While NSW is your core territory, occasional interstate travel may be required for events or sales opportunities.
