**Team Manager - Motor Claims**

We have both permanent and temporary opportunities available for a Claims professional to join RACQ Motor Claims as a Team Manager. The Motor Claims division is fast-paced, dynamic and continually evolving. Our diverse workforce is composed of energised, enthusiastic, and caring individuals. **About the role**

In this role, you will provide strong leadership and direction to meet operational performance goals and engagement objectives. You will take charge of the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient claims handling, maintaining quality standards, and delivering exceptional member experiences. You will be responsible for effectively managing priorities, creating focus, supporting capability devilment, and removing barriers to ensure the team achieves the desired outcomes. You will also identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and maintain collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders.

As a Team Manager, you will lead by example in fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with RACQ Values. You will be required to be onsite at Eight Mile Plains to support your team at least once a week or as needed.

**About you**

We are looking for skilled leaders to oversee our teams, which consists of members with varying levels of experience. As the Team Manager, you will identify and utilise each team member's strengths, fostering their development and growth to deliver exceptional outcomes for our members. Your ability to embrace and leverage the diverse competencies of the team will be crucial in driving success and achieving the best results. Ideally, you will have:

- At least 2-5 years relevant experience across leading a large team
- Insurance industry experience is desired but other industries will certainly be considered
- Strong leadership and a high level of proven ability to motivate staff to achieve personal and business objectives
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, creating, developing and maintaining effective relationships
- Member-focused mindset, high empathy and service delivery are a must
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in managing Risk and Compliance
- High complaints awareness with passion for reducing unnecessary escalations
- Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to cope with varying changes, workloads, and pressures
