Audio Solutions Sales Engineer Job
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our audio solutions in the Oceania market. As an Audio Solutions Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical designs and solutions to ensure our partners and customers have a deep understanding of our audio offerings.
You will work closely with our audio team to increase awareness and drive revenue growth across the region. Your expertise in audio markets, along with your sales skills, will enable you to build strong relationships with our network and wider community.
The role involves presenting webinars, industry networks, training, and other events to educate our audience about Axis products and solutions. You will collaborate with our global sales engineers, sales, marketing, and other teams to achieve shared goals.
Collaborate with integrators, technology partners, and internal teams during project sales processes
Design IP-based audio systems, including detailed site surveys, speaker placement, sound dispersion calculations, SPL coverage, network topology, and BOM creation
Produce schematic drawings using CAD tools, Axis Site Designer, and EASE Evac
Recommend and integrate third-party audio products as part of overall solutions
Support sales efforts with technical demonstrations, audio solution delivery, and pre-sales technical documentation
Provide technical training and updates on audio solutions to distributors, resellers, and customers
Identify new audio business opportunities through partner engagement
Represent Axis at industry events and trade shows with a focus on audio solutions
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is desirable
Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role, ideally in network audio or IP-based audio solutions
General knowledge in common paging loudspeaker systems/solutions and IP-based audio and AV Control Systems is required
Able to facilitate engaging presentations and demonstrations to various audiences
