Organizational Development Consultant

4-month contact that could be extended | Government authority based on the city's fringe | Be part of a collaborative people & culture team

**About the company**:
This busy Government authority based on the city's fringe are looking to engage an Organizational Development Business Partner. This position is initially contracted for 4 months & could lead to longer-term opportunities. You will be working alongside the organizational development team and will be working in the wider people and culture division.

This role is to start ASAP. The position is full time, Monday - Friday & the organization offers flexible hybrid working, generally the team are in two days per week.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leaders across the organization
- Raise awareness and build organizational capability
- Develop, implement and lead organizational development initiatives, to drive and support P&C initiatives
- Develop policies, frameworks and initiatives across the organization
- Support and provide advice in Learning and Development initiatives
- Conduct research and encourage best practice on all organizational development initiatives
- Adhoc projects as required by the head of OD

**You will have the following**:

- Qualification in organizational development, HRM or psychology, or relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience implementing organizational culture and leadership development programs
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and experience in dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working for a government authority or generally in the public sector is desirable
