About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be exposed to an extremely diverse range of logistics responsibilities and projects including inventory management, warehouse management, ERP systems and analytical logistics reporting. This role gives you the exciting opportunity to not only lead the national logistics team, but also make your mark on iconic Australian business.
The key responsibilities of the role will be:
Provide leadership and guidance to the State Distribution Managers;
Supervise and lead warehouse functions, including deliver, customer orders, staffing and plant operation;
Ensure accurate inventory control, pallet control and ERP system management;
Ensure customer demand are being meet;
Drive San Remo's standards of safety, quality and productivity;
Ensure compliance to WHS, Chain of Responsibility and HVNL regulations;
Plan and manage transport requirements;
Regularly report to the business on Logistic functions;
Manage projects from start to end;
Review current logistics functions and work towards continuous improvement, ensuring the logistics function is working efficiently and effectively;
Think of and provide solutions to logistics problems, as they arise;
Communicate with key stakeholders within the business.
This position is a fully onsite role (No WFH), allowing you to work closely with the team.
About the Candidate:
To be successful in this role ideally you will have:
Strong experience at a large warehouse facility (Ideally at a national level);
Strong management experience, including leading large teams;
Has a strong understanding of Logistics regulations (WHS, Chain of Responsibility and HVNL);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
The ability to speak confidently and effectively to a group of people;
A problem solving attitude – you are a person who creates solutions and has a problem solving mid;
Excellent time management skills;
Proven reporting experience;
A hard working mindset, that strives to continue to develop.
