Job Title: National Logistics Operations Manager

This role is focused on leading the end-to-end operations of our Unit Load Device (ULD) function, including all pallets, crates, and associated load devices. Your expertise in asset inventory management and stock flow is crucial to success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for pooled and internal ULD assets, driving optimisation and minimising loss/damage.
  • Lead the transformation of our ULD operations, inspiring site-based and national support teams to adopt efficient practices.
  • Foster a collaborative culture within a geographically dispersed team and lead contract negotiations with key suppliers.

The successful candidate will actively collaborate with stakeholders across different areas to develop and implement national ULD strategy. Regularly visiting distribution centres to ensure seamless operations.

Key Requirements
  • Experience in asset management, supply chain logistics, or network operations.
  • Leadership and team energisation skills, as well as experience embedding changes and navigating complex projects.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and data analysis capabilities to drive results.
