Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to fill the role of National Logistics Operations Manager. This key position will oversee the effective management of our national distribution network, ensuring seamless execution of logistics operations across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of national freight industry providers and cost drivers, as well as experience in managing multiple warehouse sites, including third-party logistics (3PL) facilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis of performance, commercials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining cost and pricing models for transport needs.
  • Managing and chairing monthly, quarterly, and annual supplier performance reviews.
  • Recommending freight providers for each route, including rate negotiations, to deliver performance and cost outcomes.

We require a highly skilled individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, who can influence where direct management is not possible. The ideal candidate will have a constructive management style, be team-oriented, and focused on service improvements.

Key qualifications and experience required:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the warehouse and distribution function, preferably in bulky goods.
  • Proven track record in managing national warehousing across multiple sales channels.
  • Previous management of multiple warehouse sites, including 3PLs.
  • Previous experience in selecting, negotiating rates, and managing freight providers.
