**About Lifeline**:
Lifeline Australia is a national charity providing crisis support services to all Australians. Each year, Lifeline receives more than 1 million contacts from people in crisis. Their vision is an Australia free of suicide and their purpose is to support Australians in times of crisis and equip individuals and communities to be resilient and suicide-safe.
**About the Role**:
This role is critical within the Service Design and Delivery (SDD) division of Lifeline Australia. The role will focus on delivering quality practice, clinical leadership and evidence-based advice across Lifelines national services, which include telephone, digital and online services. Leading a team of practice and clinical staff, the Manager - Crisis Support Services will promote high-quality consistent crisis support.
**In the role you will**:
- Lead and manage the Crisis Support Services portfolio, ensuring the provision of secure, effective, and high-quality services.
- Supervise team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), work plans, and overall performance.
- Develop comprehensive annual Business plans, encompassing operational procedures for handling work requests
- Lead the development and review of policies, frameworks, and guidelines aligned with the portfolio's objectives.
- Provide oversight of quality and service design and delivery through a continuous improvement lens, and develop quality and improvement frameworks and programs as required
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through active participation in high-level meetings relevant to the portfolio's scope.
- Orchestrate the creation of public-facing content for Marketing and Fundraising initiatives, including campaigns.
- Collaborate with Lifeline's Government Relations team to provide timely information for grant-related reporting.
- Act as the point of contact for interactions with entities such as the Police and telephone services as required.
- Engage in Clinical Governance and Practice Committee meetings.

**A bit about you**:
To have success in the role you will have a can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running. You will also have:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in psychology, counselling, mental health nursing or social work with current registration with relevant body
- 5+ years of experience in operational management including practice management, budgeting, analytics, and resource allocation
- 5+ years of experience in managing professional teams either specific to allied health disciplines or with multidisciplinary teams, and providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
- Capable of translating technical and clinical expertise into actionable and operational programs.
- Familiar with applicable State/Territory policies, national standards for mental health, suicidality, child protection, and domestic violence.
- Experienced in delivering verbal and written clinical advice.
- Possesses project management expertise.
- Exhibits advanced communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
