Crisis Support Supervision Opportunity

Make a difference in the lives of those who need it most as a Crisis Support Supervisor. This role involves supporting Crisis Supporters during their shifts, ensuring a safe and effective service for help seekers.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, your duties will include:

  • Providing coaching, supervision, and mentorship to Crisis Supporters.
  • Managing shift coordination to ensure continuity and support staff breaks.
  • Assisting with rostering, troubleshooting, and responding to service needs.
  • Supporting onboarding, training, and skill development of new and existing staff.
  • Escalating safety concerns and high-risk interactions as required.
  • Contributing to continuous service improvement and best practices.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Accreditation to provide In-Shift Support or equivalent experience in a Crisis Support role.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supervising Crisis Supporters.
  • Willingness to complete the HADS In-Shift Support Supervisor E-Learning.
  • Familiarity with the In-Shift Support Ways of Working manual and CARE operations manual.
  • Completion of safety management training for imminent situations.
  • Ability to follow Lifeline guidelines around Safety Management.
