We are actively seeking an experienced Capture manager for a position with a Canberra based defence business. We are looking for a driven and service-focused individual who will play a vital role in managing the capture of new business.

Your responsibilities will include the ownership of developing technical and commercial solutions, formulating proposals and engaging with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead specific capture opportunities.
- Development of solution documents, capture plans, win strategies, presentations, white papers and other key artefacts in support of new business.
- Assist project lead and project team in completing project tasks to meet client requirements.
- Be able to manage preparation of complex and competitive tender
- Communicate effectively with project team and relevant client staff.
- Complete all project administrative tasks as specified in the company's quality manual and procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERINECE NEEDED
- Tertiary Qualification(s) in relevant field and at least five years industry experience.
- Strong research and analytic skills.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the ASDEFCON tender process.
- Sound negotiation skills.
- Experience in dealing with Government procurement organisations.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the Australian Defence environment
