"As a member of Group Security, Resilience and Safety, you will be responsible for all Compliance programme management within the wide-ranging portfolio of programmes the team are involved in. Delivering high profile programmes and projects in line with Compliance requirements that arise from obligations placed on Sky because of Sky's communications products in the UK Market place such as Broadband, telephony and Mobile." - Head of Government Liaison
What you'll do:
- Deliver programmes consisting of multiple technical workstreams covering multiple fiscal years
- Support concept shaping and evaluation in the very early stages of an initiative, using delivery expertise and knowledge of the Digital Workplace
- Exercise all the attributes expected within the role including governance, scope management, plan management, budgetary control, change control, risk and issue management.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships across the business, operational and delivery areas and to be a trusted delivery resource. This will include building cohesive and efficient matrix cross functional delivery teams.
- Heavily focused on Stakeholder, Vendor, Budgetary Risk / Issue, contract management (contract negotiation) and engagement.
- Lead multiple Project Managers with the responsibility of deliver outputs for your programme
What you'll bring:
- You will have vision, drive, diplomacy, and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity, and multiple stakeholders, being able to influence others without direct authority.
- Importantly, you will have a pragmatic result
- and delivery
- oriented mentality, with a track record of having facilitated technology and operational delivery on very large cross-enterprise Workplace initiatives, ideally in industry related to Sky and Workplace
- Be a brilliant communicator and listener, who can translate messages and simplify and summarise problems in a straightforward and succinct manner to a range of audiences from support to C-level
- Flexibility in your approach and be able to adapt your style and methods to get the best out of the business in delivering a programme. Being able to recognise when things are not working and need changing is core to what we are looking for.
- Outstanding facilitator who can resolve tension and increase collaboration towards shared goals in any situation, and who is able to build effective relationships with a range of individuals at all levels in the organisation.
- Finally, we want you to be the voice of calm in a fast paced and dynamic environment. All programmes go through challenges and stressful times, so we want the people running those initiatives to be able to handle those times as calmly as possible and to be seen in control of all situations and challenges.
Security
We help combat piracy and theft of Sky content - making it as hard as possible for pirates to steal our content, operate their networks, and provide their services. We also have a team of investigators to explore a wide range of criminal threats against Sky, its people and assets. This can range from data loss, to piracy, to financial crime, helping make everyone and everything #SafeAtSky.
