- **Salary ranges from $145,378 to $168,130 p.a. plus super & leave loading**
**About the role**
As the Industrial Relations Manager, you will take the lead in the development, negotiation and implementation of industrial awards and conditions across our department. You will be:
- Leading a specialist team to provide expert advice on diverse and complex industrial relations matters
- Driving initiatives that align industrial relations strategies with legislative requirements

**About you**
- Extensive experience negotiating and resolving complex industrial relations issues
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations regulatory framework
- Demonstrated experience negotiating with unions and representing employers at tribunals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
- Skilled in maintaining strong professional relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to provide timely expert and strategic advice on complex industrial relations issues to senior management
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, employment law, human resources or a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education
