**The Opportunity**
We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Service Coordinator to join our Service team based in the Somerton branch. This role will see you organising the day-to-day Field Service & Workshop activities within the branch, including planning work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction.
**Reporting to the Branch Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for**:
- Booking and scheduling all Workshop and Field Service works as well as managing invoicing and work in progress
- Maintaining a high level of customer communication
- Ensuring safety and efficiency of field service technicians
- Ensuring effective utilisation of equipment and resources in line with customer requirements and agreed budgets
- Preparing and updating work orders and timesheets in a timely manner, maintaining documentation and warranty claims with 100% accuracy
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Scheduler/Planner or similar role
- A strong customer service background with exposure to earthmoving or similar industries preferred
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills while managing your time efficiently within a high paced work environment
- Experience in coordinating the opening and closing of service information
- A strong ability to handle several tasks simultaneously with an ambition for achieving success
