Your part in our UnitingCare teamThe Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS) is a free and voluntary service that provides tailored support to families with children aged 18 and under living at home, as well as expectant parents.
The service provides support for diverse families with multiple and complex needs, through targeted interventions to build their skills and capacity to safely nurture and protect their children.
This is an in-home support service through visiting families in their homes to develop goals to enable families to keep their children safe at home.As The Service Leader You'llProvide professional leadership to a team of Case WorkersWork cooperatively across UCQ programs to derive maximum benefit for people accessing services.Support the day-to-day operations and practice improvement of our IFS service.What makes a difference for us?
Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology or Social Science) as required by relevant service contracts.A minimum of two years demonstrated leadership experience coupled with experience working in child protection and Intensive Family Services.Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and licensing requirements associated with the serviceDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersCurrent Drivers LicenceWorking with Children Check (Blue Card)What makes a difference for you?
