Job Title: Payroll Service Delivery Leader

This is a critical role that requires a leader to manage and optimize payroll service delivery across multiple locations in Queensland. As a key member of the Department of Transport and Main Roads team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service and compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll services and experience in leading teams to deliver operational excellence. They will be responsible for developing and implementing team procedures and performance measures to achieve strategic objectives while meeting service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a functional team to deliver best-practice human resources, payroll, and establishment services to customer agencies.
  • Develop and implement operational team procedures and performance measures to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Manage team workflow delegation methods to optimise performance and maintain internal controls.
