We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an innovative and dynamic **Leisure Programs Consultant** to join the BaptistCare at home team on a Fixed-term Part-time - Flexible hours.

**About the role**:
As the **Leisure Programs Consultant** you will be responsible for coordinating, programming and evaluating a diverse range of centre based social support and respite programs for older people.

**Key responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Plan, design and support the delivery of meaningful, structured social support and respite programs for groups and individuals
- Lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams to deliver meaningful activities
- Support the delivery of safe and effective care
- Providing high quality services, in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements
- Actively foster positive working relationships and the growth of BaptistCare

**What you will bring to the role**:

- A Bachelor of Health Science, Leisure and Health, or Diversional Therapy or a related field, or 6 years' experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience supporting diverse populations, including people living with dementia
- Experience in staff training and development
- Excellent communication skills including high level computer literacy and digital skills
- Proven experience working with home care budgets, funding and service delivery highly regarded
- An understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and ability promote the organisation's values through interactions at work.
