Leisure Program Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Leisure Program Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the regional Diversional Therapist to deliver high-quality leisure programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents at our North Turramurra Facility.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating resident-driven leisure programs, providing opportunities for socialization and personal growth, and ensuring that all activities align with our organization's values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging leisure programs that promote psychological, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cultural wellbeing among residents.
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages residents to participate in activities, builds their confidence, and enhances their overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with the Diversional Therapist and other team members to design and deliver person-centered programs that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, gather feedback from residents and staff, and make recommendations for improvements.
