Engage Residents through Leisure and Lifestyle Activities

As a Recreational Activities Officer, you will play a key role in driving resident engagement by planning, organising and leading social, recreational and cultural activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead mental health and wellbeing programs that empower residents' choices and independence, promoting a happy and quality lifestyle.

Duties:

  1. Plan and organise leisure and lifestyle activities to meet residents' needs, promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
  2. Assess and document program effectiveness by tracking residents' progress and making changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle required.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills essential.
  • Ability to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
