Our organisation offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of engaging lifestyle programs for residents in our residential aged care homes. This role is pivotal in supporting the lifestyle teams to deliver exceptional experiences for our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Job Description

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents. You will work closely with our Head of Leisure and Lifestyle Services to ensure seamless delivery of services across our three residential aged care homes.

Your primary focus will be on creating a positive and inclusive environment that fosters social interaction, engagement, and meaningful relationships among residents. You will also play a crucial role in leading and supporting your team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lifestyle programs that meet the diverse needs of our residents.
  • Lead and support a team of lifestyle staff to deliver high-quality services.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Leisure and Lifestyle Services to align programs with organisational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to program delivery and resident feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma of Leisure and Health or related qualification.
  • Previous experience working in the aged care sector.
  • Proven leadership experience in aged care or a community setting.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards.
