Job Title: Senior Leisure Programs Coordinator

The Role

As the Senior Leisure Programs Coordinator, you will work closely with the regional Diversional Therapist and be responsible for North Turramurra Facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking quality assessments and comprehensive program planning.
  • Implementing and engaging programs and activities that meet the needs, wants and desires of the residents.
  • Evaluating the program on a regular basis to ensure it meets the needs of the residents and suggesting improvements.

This position reports to the Facility Managers and the Engagement and Purposeful Living Manager Care Operations. The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this) and a passion for delivering high-quality care that makes a difference for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate a resident-driven leisure program that supports, challenges and enhances the psychological, social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cultural wellbeing of our residents.
  2. Provide opportunities for residents to participate in leisure and recreation activities that promote self-esteem and personal fulfillment.
  3. Lead and support Leisure and Lifestyle staff, working closely with the staff of the home to provide a high-quality person-centered service.

This role is a full-time permanent position at our North Turramurra Facility.
