PEER is a non-profit industry-based organisation, a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and an award winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering nationally accredited training packages to meet South Australia's skill development needs.
**The Role**
The role is part of the Customer Service Team and is responsible for supporting the day to day running of the trade school.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the PEER reception area and serve as the primary point of contact for Applicants, learners, industry visitors and staff
- Ensure efficient management of the student management system, including enrolments and attendance
- Follow and implement PEER office processes and procedures including student late arrivals/early leavers and follow ups
- Receive payment from learners and apprentices and complete weekly banking
- Ordering stock including stationery, distribution and collection of mail
- Prepare and distribute communications to learners and staff as required
- Provide valuable administrative support to the RTO and GTO
- Display flexibility in assuming various roles and responsibilities within the Trade school setting.
**Requirements**:
- Prior reception/administration experience essential. - **minimum 12 months**:
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and serve as a professional representative of PEER
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office Applications
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and software programs, particularly those related to learning management systems
- Proactive approach and ability to complete tasks within established deadlines
- Strong multitasking skills, as well as the ability to shift priorities as required
- Familiarity with cash and EFTPOS handling
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing assigned tasks.
