With over 900 stores and 8,000 team members across Australia and New Zealand, Accent Group's Payroll team plays a key role in making sure everyone is paid accurately and on time, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you would like to be part of a high-energy, supportive team in a fast-growing retail business, we're looking for a Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and loves the challenge of delivering accurate, on-time payroll while supporting our people with a smile.

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll across fortnightly and monthly cycles for a diverse portfolio of brands.
  • Ensuring accuracy of payroll data, including leave, overtime, back-payments, and terminations.
  • Partnering with managers and team members to resolve payroll queries quickly and with care.
  • Maintaining up-to-date payroll records and reports.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver smooth payroll operations.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years' payroll experience, ideally in a high-volume or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards (retail award a plus), and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Chris21 / iChris and/or Dayforce highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • An organised, detail-driven problem-solver with a "make it happen" attitude.
