**Purpose of the role**

We're seeking a senior analyst with a strong claims background to support our runoff strategy as we exit intermediated distribution channels. In this influential role, you'll design and oversee outsourced claims processes, monitor partners' compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations, and help maintain our award-winning customer experience. This role is an 18-month fixed term contract.

**Key priorities**
- Support oversight frameworks for partners' claims operations.
- Conduct assurance activities, including audits and reviews, to ensure regulatory and code compliance.
- Report on partner performance to stakeholders and manage action plans.
- Oversee referrals for claims exceeding partners' financial delegations.

**Risk Management / Workplace Health & Safety**
- Proactively manage risks by reporting incidents and improving processes.
- Follow WHS policies to ensure a safe workplace for yourself and others.
- Promote a strong risk culture across the team and business.

**About you**
**Experience & Knowledge**:
**Qualifications**
- Degree in business, management, or similar field (desirable).
- 10+ years of technical claims experience in personal lines and SME.
- Strong understanding of claims service best practices.
- Experience with underwriting agencies or third-party claims administrators (highly desirable).
- Skilled technical claims auditor, able to deliver constructive feedback.
- Deep knowledge of financial services legislation and technical requirements.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement.
- Strong research, analysis, and evidence-based recommendation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Thrives in a dynamic, autonomous environment.
- Maintains performance in ambiguous situations.

**Ways of working**

Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.

**Sippy Downs & Fortitude Valley**:
This role can be based at either our Headquarters in Sippy Downs or our Fortitude Valley office.
