The Townsville RSL is seeking a motivated and experienced Full time Duty Manager to join our committed and professional team. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing daily operations and ensuring the Club runs smoothly and efficiently at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the Club in accordance with procedures
- Oversee daily operations across bars, restaurant, functions, and gaming area
- Provide leadership, support, and direction to staff
- Delegate tasks and assist in onboarding and training new team members
- Ensure adherence to Club policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and industry regulations
- Conduct routine safety and compliance inspections
What we're are looking for:
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or Supervisory hospitality role
- Proficiency with the Odyssey Gaming System (preferred)
- Experience with TAB, Keno, and Gaming operations
- Basic administrative and financial skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service
Required Certifications:
- Current RMLV certificate
- Liquor Approved Manager License
- Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG)
- First Aid certificate
