Redcape Hospitality is seeking a passionate, committed hospitality professional to join our Leadership Team at The Sun Hotel as one of our Assistant/Duty Managers. Working as part of the Venue Leadership Team to successfully run the Hotel's operations in a hands-on role that includes FOH and BOH duties.

Role Purpose

• To lead through Redcape's purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on our key performance metrics.
• To support your Venue Manager in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance.

Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations

You would work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team, taking carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience.  The key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Leading a variety of internal teams as we strive to offer outstanding customer experiences.
• Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.
• Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
• Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with our Hotel's operating hours.

• Required: RSA, RCG, RMLV & Approved Managers Licence
• A successful candidate would have previous experience in high volume kitchens and a comprehensive understanding of Gaming Operations.
• Experience with entertainment, community engagement & high volume beverage operations (late-night & weekends) would be an advantage.
